Compliment vs Complement #improve your vocabulary

Hello everybody!

One of my favorite teaching English channels on YouTube is actually “Doing English with Julian
Here is a wonderful video, about tricky words. It is a vocabulary lesson. Julian explains to us the two words “complement” and “compliment”.

Notice!
They have the same pronunciation but they differ in meaning and spelling.
Remember!
What makes their spelling different are the “e” and “i” letters.

With “e” letter:
Complement means to add to something in a way that improves it or makes it more attractive.

With “i” letter:
Compliment means a remark that expresses praise or admiration of somebody.
